1° day -           Palermo

Private transfer from airport to hotel.
In the afternoon, guided walking tour of the historic centre of the city.
Palermo is a wonderful city with a wealth of heritage sites and buildings.
You will stay at a baroque palace turned into a design hotel & Spa.
Overnight stay in Palermo.

2° day -           Palermo

In the morning transfer by bus to Monreale and visit the Cathedral and its cloister.
In the afternoon walking tour of Palermo.
Overnight stay in Palermo.

3° day -           Palermo – Marsala

Early in the morning we head out in the direction of the Archeological Site of Segesta. We visit the most important areas, the doric temple and the theatre.  We continue on towards Marsala, passing through these towns along the coast: Castellammare del Golfo, Scopello, San Vito lo Capo. Time for enjoy the wonderful beaches and have a lunch. Continue on to Erice, walking  tour of the old city on the top of a hill with breathtaking views of the Gulf of Trapani.
Arriving at Marsala, at a typical Sicilian Baglio where you will stay for the night. Dinner based on typical products of Azienda Agricola Baglio Oneto.

4° day -           Marsala

In the morning visit of the little city of Trapani. On the road stop to Isola di Mozia in order to visit the famous “saline”. Lunch at Trapani and, in the afternoon transfer to the Cantina Florio, where they await us for some wine tasting accompanied by traditional Sicilian foods. Dinner at Baglio Oneto Resort.

Alternative you can enjoy an Egadi Islands tour by boat (Favignana e Levanzo) about 6 hours, lunch included.

5° day -           Marsala – Sciacca

Early morning departure to Selinunte, visit of the archeological site. Today we travel to the area of Sicily famous for wine production. Through the countryside of western Sicily, crossing the vineyards and arriving at Menfi, the city of wine. Wine tasting at Cantine Barbera or Planeta, their vineyards are directly in front of the sea. Continue to Sciacca for overnight at Verdura Resort.

6° day -           Sciacca – Agrigento - Sciacca

Morning visit of the archeological site, Valle dei Templi (The Valley of the Temples), one of the most suggestive examples of Greek art and architecture. In 1997 it was added to Unesco’s World Heritage Site list. Transfer to Porto Empedoche and suggested lunch based on traditional Sicilian Street Food (chick pea fritters, anchoives etc.). Overnight stay in Sciacca.

7° day -           Sciacca – Noto

We head out in the direction of Noto passing through two beautiful small towns which are splendid examples of Sicilian Baroque architecture. Both are Unesco World Heritage Sites.  Modica is the city of chocolate and a visit to one of the local chocolate – maker’s shops with chocolate sampling is a must.
In Scicli you will visit its seventeeth century buildings, the mother church, the Madonna delle Milizie, the city hall, where you can visit the mayor’s office, where many scenes from the tv program, Commissario Montalbano were filmed.
Overnight stay in Noto.

8° day –           Noto – Siracusa – Noto

Transfer to Siracusa, visit of the old city – Ortigia.
Visit of the Greek Theatre. In the afternoon come back to Noto.

A stroll on Corso Vittorio Emanuele, the heart of the city, with its limestone buildings that change color, from golden to a reddish color, depending on the sun’s rays, is a unique spectacle. Come back to Villa Favorita where you are all invited to a  hands-on cooking class: mind you, you eat what you cook!  Overnight stay in Noto.

9° day -           Noto – Taormina

During the transfer from Noto to Taormina we will visit Catania.

10° day -         Taormina

Visit of Etna volcano, stop at Zafferana Etnea for a brunch based on street food (arancine, panelle, cannoli, ecc.).

11° day – Taormina – Catania

Transfer to Catania Airport.
